Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA-50-75%), close relatives of affected patients (5-10%) & in
Autoimmune gestational diabetes. Antibody titres are linked to beta cell destruction and decrease within the first year of the disease. Detection of antibodies in unaffected relatives is associated with progression to Diabetes in the future.
